STUDENT VISA (TIER 4 OR STUDENT ROUTE)
You must have an unconditional offer from a UK institution that is a licensed Student Route sponsor.
The institution will issue you a CAS, which you need to include in your visa application.
You must demonstrate that you have enough money to cover your course fees and living costs. The exact amount depends on your location in the UK and your course duration.
This can be proven by providing bank statements, a letter from your financial sponsor, or scholarship details.
If your course is not exempt from this requirement, you will need to prove your English language proficiency through a recognized English language test (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL).
Some applicants from certain countries are required to undergo a TB test at an approved clinic. You must provide a certificate with your visa application if this applies to you.
You should have the necessary academic qualifications to meet the requirements of your chosen course.
Provide your original academic transcripts and certificates.
You must not have breached the UK's immigration laws in the past.
If you have previous visa refusals or overstays, you may face additional scrutiny.
If you are over 18 years old and intend to study a course that lasts more than 6 months, you may be required to provide a criminal record certificate from your home country or any other country where you've lived for more than 12 months in the last 10 years.
Pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS), which grants you access to the UK's National Health Service (NHS) during your stay or if you don’t have it or you don’t know about, we can assist you in this concern.
Your passport should be valid for the duration of your intended stay.
In some countries, you may need to provide biometric information (fingerprints and a digital photograph) at a visa application centers like VFS Centers which are probably used for the Biometrics.
If you are under 18 years old, you will need written consent from your parent or guardian.
WORK VISA (TIER 2 OR SKILLED WORKER VISA)
What is a Work Visa (Tier 2 or Skilled Worker Visa)?
The Skilled Worker Visa, which has replaced the Tier 2 (General) Visa, allows skilled non-EEA (European Economic Area) workers to come to the United Kingdom for employment. Here are the requirements for a UK Skilled Worker Visa:
Required Documents
You must have a job offer from a UK employer that holds a valid Skilled Worker Sponsor License.
The job offer must meet the skill and salary requirements for the Skilled Worker Visa.
Your UK employer will issue you a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS), which you will need for your visa application.
Your job must meet the minimum salary requirement for the Skilled Worker Visa. The specific salary threshold varies depending on the job type and job level.
You must be paid at least the 'going rate' for the occupation or the minimum salary for the skill level, whichever is higher.
You will need to demonstrate your English language proficiency through an approved English language test unless you are exempt.
You must have enough money to support yourself without relying on public funds.
You may not need to prove this if your Certificate of Sponsorship confirms your employer will support you.
If you are from a country where a TB test is required, you must complete it at an approved clinic and include the certificate with your application.
Some applicants may be required to provide a criminal record certificate from their home country or any other country where they've lived for more than 12 months in the last 10 years.
Pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS), granting access to the UK's National Health Service (NHS) during your stay.
Your passport should be valid for the duration of your intended stay.
